Belstaff x Vestiaire Collective

Belstaff is pleased to announce its partnership with Vestiaire Collective on the exclusive sale of ten iconic waxed cotton Trialmaster jackets from the Archive.

Belstaff x Vestiaire Collective

The Vestiaire Collective partnership is a celebration of the Trialmaster jacket design and the first time Belstaff has sold any of the curated archive with a partner. Vestiaire Collective, launched in 2009, is now a global destination for the resale of premium luxury and vintage fashion for men and women, with over six million members in 50 countries. The two brands have worked together to develop and restore the vintage items for sale alongside The Vintage Showroom, the curator of the Belstaff archive.

The 10 Trialmaster waxed cotton jackets will be available to purchase exclusively at and are available to view at the Belstaff New Bond Street flagship. The jackets are from the 60’s and 70’s, a particularly sought after era. Each jacket has an oily hand waxed patina giving them their water resistant properties. The 60’s styles feature a distinct slanted pocket which was carried through from the original 50’s designs, while Trialmasters from the 70’s were updated with a modern horizontal pocket design. The jackets have the classic Belstaff check lining, with some still displaying vintage badges from Goodyear or BSA pins from their original owners. Two of the jackets are in hard to find rare red wax, all with individual wear and weathered distinctions on the fabrics. All proceeds from the sales will go towards future purchases to help grow and sustain the Archive.

Bertrand Thoral, Head of Vestiaire Collective Man says of the partnership, ‘From the very beginning, we wanted to build the brand DNA of Vestiaire Collective Man not just around men's fashion, but around the lifestyle of a style savvy man that enjoys rare and timeless investments such as vintage cars, watches and custom motorcycles. I feel Belstaff share a similar vision so when the opportunity to collaborate with them on their archive collection came up there was no hesitation, its an honour and an amazing opportunity to give our global community access to Belstaff's archive and share a part of the brands history.’

Delphine Ninous, Creative Director, Belstaff say of the partnership ‘Our archive is not only a fantastic design reference it also showcases our legacy. It’s great to offer the Vestiaire Collective style conscious community the opportunity to purchase these one of a kind jackets and we hope it introduces Belstaff to a new audience, who appreciate craftsmanship and long lasting heritage.’
