THE ROAD AHEAD
NOTHING ENDURES BUT CHANGE
We’ve dedicated ourselves to moving people forward since 1924, creating apparel that adapts to the challenges, changes and weather conditions we all face daily. Today, our greatest challenge is protecting the environment we live in and helping to create a better future for our planet, and in turn, the brand we love. We’ve got a long journey ahead but we are getting started. Below, are just a few of the ways we’re helping to create a better tomorrow at Belstaff.SOURCING RESPONSIBLE COTTON
We are committed to sourcing 80% of our cotton in a more sustainable way by 2025.
By purchasing cotton products from Belstaff, you are supporting more responsibly grown cotton through Better Cotton. The cotton supply chain is complex so Better Cotton uses a system called Mass Balance, a widely used volume-tracking system. It allows Better Cotton to be substituted or mixed with conventional cotton as long as equivalent volumes are sourced as Better Cotton. Purchasing products that were sourced as Better Cotton helps create demand and improve conditions at farm level. Better Cotton is not physically traceable to end products, however, Better Cotton Farmers benefit from the demand for Better Cotton in equivalent volumes to those we ‘source.’DRIVING CHANGE IN LEATHER PRODUCTION RESPONSIBLY SOURCE LEATHER
Belstaff is committed to supporting responsible leather manufacturing, which is why we are proud members of the Leather Working Group (LWG). We purchase 100% of our leather from LWG-certified leather manufacturers, a not-for-profit organisation which drives for supply chain traceability and transparency, as well as improving social and environmental industry best practices for leather production. Currently, 72% of our leather suppliers have achieved a gold, silver or bronze medal rating in their LWG Audit. We aim to increase this to 80% by 2025.DRIVING CHANGE IN LEATHER PRODUCTION

MEETING THE RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD CERTIFICATION
We are committed to achieving Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certification with 100% of our woven down outerwear suppliers by 2024. The RDS protects the ducks and geese used to produce down and encourages practices that don’t cause unnecessary harm. Our work here is just beginning: currently, 67% of our suppliers are certified to the Responsible Down Standard. By 2024 we will ensure 100% of our suppliers adhere to these certifications.FAST DELIVERY
