Belstaff respects your privacy and understands the importance of protecting your personally identifiable information.

Belstaff has established its Privacy Policy in respect of the confidence its clientele places in it and in conformity with high standards of protection of your personally identifiable information to which it is committed.

This Privacy Policy sets out the measures taken by Belstaff or by third parties, on behalf of Belstaff, as listed below, to protect your privacy when you use our Sites at,,, and other domains, microsites or web pages maintained by or on behalf of us.

We explain below the way in which we collect, use, share or communicate your information and personal data. By using the Sites, you consent to the use (including transfer) of such information as described below.

Belstaff reserves the right to modify, alter, or otherwise update this Privacy Policy at any time in accordance with modified legislative obligations and Belstaff business objectives, and encourages you to check back periodically so that you are always aware of the most current policies and practices that Belstaff has in place to protect your information and personal data.

What information we collect, and how we collect it

When you visit the Sites, our web servers automatically collect certain data that your web browser sends whenever you visit any websites, such as your originating IP (Internet Protocol) address, information relating to which pages have been viewed, date and time of your visit (for example, using cookies as described further below).

When you use the Sites, we collect information voluntarily submitted by you (for example, via the preference centre as described further below) such as your email address and any other contact details submitted by you and any optional services selected by you (for example, whether you have chosen to receive emails about certain topics of interest to you). If you contact us (either by email or via the contact centre), we may keep a record of that correspondence.

In the course of using the Sites, as a registered user, you may choose to upload or post private information on public areas of the Sites in the form of content and accompanying information. Any such content or information is not considered information that is subject to this Privacy Policy. This is dealt with by the Site’s terms and conditions.

The Site is intended for general audiences and is not targeted to or intended for use by children who are under age (“Minors”). Belstaff does not intentionally collect information and personal data from Minors. Should Belstaff become aware that a Minor has submitted information and personal data through any of the Sites, Belstaff will remove such information from its files. Belstaff is in no way liable with regard to any information and personal data provided by Minors.

How we use your information and personal data

The ways in which we use your information and personal data will vary depending on the kind of information you provide and the purpose for which you have provided it. This section sets out the different ways we may use your information and personal data.

- We may use anonymous information; link your IP address, to compile statistics, to assess the usage of the Sites and to customise the Sites’ content, layout and services. This will allow us to improve our Sites and the services provided through it.

- We may integrate your personal data from our various databases to form a single view to allow us to have an effective and efficient communication with you.

- We may provide your private information to any third party that administers any facility, service or promotion operated via the Sites on our behalf to enable such third party to administer that facility, service or promotion properly.

- We may contact you to ask if you would like to complete a survey or answer some market research questions including in relation to (i) the services and/or products available on the Sites and (ii) the way in which you use the Sites.

- The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored in, the United States of America for processing by our email administration company who send out email communications on behalf of Belstaff. The company is legally obliged to protect your information just as if we held the information ourselves. If you submit information on the Sites, you specifically consent by doing so to such transfer, storing or processing. We shall continue to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

How we do not use your information and personal data

Other than as stated above, Belstaff will not use your information and personal data for unsolicited communications. Belstaff does not sell, rent or otherwise make available any information and personal data submitted to Belstaff to other third parties unless it believes such disclosure is required to (i) comply with laws, regulations or government policies; (ii) comply with court orders, legal processes, or government enforcement actions; (iii) establish or exercise Belstaff legal rights, protect Belstaff rights and interests or defend against legal claims, or (iv) detect, investigate, prevent or take action with respect to illegal activities, suspected fraud or misconduct securities or technical issues, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or violations of these Privacy Policy.

Other use of your information and personal data

Your information and personal data may be shared with, and made available to joint use by duly authorised Belstaff personnel, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies worldwide, its Customers Relations management agencies and occasionally to third parties that collect, manage, analyse or maintain data on Belstaff's behalf.

Some of Belstaff subsidiaries, affiliates or some of Belstaff partners are located outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area ("EEA") and consequently you accept that your information and personal data may be either imported to Switzerland or transferred abroad. Belstaff will use its best endeavours to ensure that your information and personal data are kept secure at all times and that such persons/companies are subject to confidentiality agreements and to the strict respect of your privacy in accordance with applicable legislation. . Furthermore Belstaff informs you that all security and privacy measures have been put in place in order to ensure an adequate level of data protection irrespective of the geographical location of each company or partner that will be the receipt of your information or personal data.

Data Protection

Your information and personal data are processed by electronic and non-electronic equipment in order to protect the confidentiality of the same. Belstaff protects, controls and processes your information and personal data with appropriate security measures and procedures, also in relation to knowledge acquired from technological advancement, in order to protect the security and privacy of your information and personal data and to reduce the risks of destruction, loss, unauthorised processing, access or processing which is inconsistent with the above mentioned purposes, to a minimum.

We cannot guarantee the security of any private information provided to us in an email or in online form while it is being transmitted to us, as the internet is a potentially non-secure method of information transfer. Any such transmission is at your own risk.

We do not accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system which may occur while using interactive features of the Sites.

As best practice, we also strongly recommend that you regularly run an anti-virus programme on all material downloaded from the internet.

When you subscribe to e-newsletters through the Sites you agree that we may use your information for the following purposes:

- We will use it to send you online and/or email communications or text communications (for example, communications enabled via the Sites between us and users of mobile telephones or other portable devices.

- We may use it to operate the features of the Sites and to allow you, when you choose to do so, to participate in features available only to registered users or interactive features of the Sites.

The Belstaff websites (,,,,) are operated by Belstaff directly. As well as the general uses listed above, by using the Sites or by signing up to e-newsletters on the Preference Centre, you agree that we may use your information for the following purposes:

  • For the purposes of fulfilling orders you place on the Sites and sending you email communications in connection with those orders.
  • To respond to any queries you make about the items listed on the Belstaff Sites.

Purchases from the Belstaff Sites are governed by the terms and conditions.

When we are required to disclose information

We shall disclose your information and personal data if we are required to do so by law, regulation, court order or any competent governmental, statutory or public authority or to protect our rights and property or the rights and property of any other Belstaff organisation, of our licensors or of the public. We may also cooperate with a law enforcement agency in any official investigation, and we may disclose your private information to that agency in doing so.

Access, Change and Unsubscribe

To unsubscribe from our newsletter you can click on the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of any of  our newsletters.

You may correct or change your personal details, e-newsletter preferences (for example, to subscribe or unsubscribe to e-newsletters) via the Preference Centre or by clicking on the relevant Unsubscribe link in any e-newsletter.

General Provisions

This Privacy Policy is exclusively governed by the laws of Switzerland without regard to their conflicts of law provisions. The competent courts of the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any differences or disputes arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy.
